History
Opened in 1975. One of the only famous clubs to be actually in or near a town centre. (very practical for San An based clubbers!)

Location
Directly on the waterfront of San Antonio, opposite the harbour. This makes Es Paradis such a hit with the San An clubbing tourists: it's only a 5 minute walk from the West End! If you are staying down the Bay (Port d'es Torrent), the disco bus ferries clubbers back and forth all night.

Music Policy

Everything from the sexiest house to top trance and techno, Es Paradis excels at providing a very varied weekly programme. With Trance, House, Disco, Old Skool, UK Garage and their own trademark water parties with residents Giovanni and Alex Collings, you can see why Es Paradis enjoys immense popularity, not only in San Antonio.

Inside Es Paradis

Possibly the most beautiful club you will ever see. The enormous Glass Pyramid (with sunroof for those hot and steamy nights) is one of San Antonio's most famous landmarks. Inside, the club is decorated with Roman columns, marble fittings and tropical palm trees - it will blow you away. If you get the chance, go to the water parties (Fiesta del Agua), where the sunken dance floor is filled with water. Tops off and dive in - everyone else does ;-)

And you've never seen such a friendly and up for it crowd!

Prices

Expect to pay around 25 - 40 €. Get in quickly and early, as the queues on those big nights are enormous. A beer should cost around 5 €, Vodka Lemon 8 €. Reduced price flyers and occasional free entry tickets are available from bars around San Antonio.

A quick thought from Ben Johnson (based on personal experience ;-) - Don't try and get into the Fiesta del Agua (water party) with swimming shorts or trunks - you probably won't get let in. You can of course cunningly wear them underneath your trousers/dress etc.

Many thanks to Es Paradis for the pics
